What is the R-value of hempcrete?
Due to hempcrete being a thermal mass wall with continuous insulation R-value doesn't reflect the thermal performance of the wall. However, most testing of hempcrete gives an R-value of about 2 per inch.

What is hempcrete made out of?
Hemp hurd/shiv which is a bi-product of hemp fiber extraction
Proprietary binder consisting mostly of building grade limes
Water
